Jeffrey is a partner and heads the litigation department of the firm. His practice is in litigation, specializing in product liability, real estate and construction law.

Jeffrey is a leading practitioner in Quebec in the law of product quality and defective workmanship and is the author of the reference book on the subject, La garantie de qualité du vendeur en droit québécois.

Jeffrey is also a contributing author of the book La construction au Québec: perspectives juridiques. He writes regularly on various aspects of product liability, real estate, environmental and construction law.

Jeffrey is an accredited arbitrator and mediator with several arbitration centers. He specializes in the resolution of construction and product quality claims.

Jeffrey is a member of the Bar of Montreal’s Liaison Committee with the Superior Court of Quebec. For several previous years, he was a member of the Bar of Montreal’s Liaison Committee with the Court of Quebec.

Jeffrey is Chair of the Nominate Contracts Group of the Joint Committee of the Bar of Quebec and the Chamber of Notaries of Quebec responsible for making recommendations to the Quebec Ministry of Justice on the revision and harmonization of the English and French versions of the Civil Code of Quebec.

He is also a member of the Continuing Education Committee of the Canadian Bar Association (Quebec Division).

Jeffrey is on call and acts, from time to time, as a sessional lecturer at McGill University's Faculty of Law where he teaches the law of sale and product liability in relation to both Quebec civil law and Canadian common law.

He has also been invited on numerous occasions to give presentations to the judges of the Quebec Superior Court and the Court of Quebec on the law of defects and manufacturer's liability.

Jeffrey was named as the product liability representative for Canada to the Conference of the International Academy of Comparative Law in Brisbane, Australia.
